Anyway, it has been awhile since I last updated. No real reason for it, lack of things to write, business. The usual stuff. Anyway, I'm coming out you loud and proud from my laptop which I have just connected to the internet. I'd forgotten how slow 56k is. Anyway, while I was setting it up I was getting angry because it wouldn't detect a dial tone, then I realised I'd put the phone line into the wrong socket on the lap top, ooops heh. I spent 5 minutes shouting at it, untill I thought, hmmm maybe I should put the wire in there.

I got a few of my results back from the exams I did in January. I think I did pretty well, I got 77/90 in history, thats an A and I got 90/90 in Media Studies. The exam was easy for me because it was about GTA 3 and the Simpsons Hit N' Run. Being the geek that I am I've played these games and know quite a bit about them. I think it was a bit unfair for the girls that do media studies though because they are less likely to know about these games.

One thing that did annoy me today was that when a couple of my friends got their history results back and they got 79/90 and 81/90 they were disapointed. WHAT??! That's an A and a very high A, you can't get higher than an A, it's not like there is some super amazing ultra A. That's it you whiney bastards. One of them said "I'm just disapointed that I didn't get full marks because the I would have got full marks in 8 of my exams". So 7 isn't enough for you? Git. I really hate people like that.

I realised something while I was in General Studies yesterday. We were watching a video about GM food and how it could help poorer countries like Africa and one bloke on there kept calling them 'developing countries'. I think the reason for this is that it's less disturbing for us to call them that rather than 'poor countries that will always be struggling because we refuse to wipe off international debt'. I hate political correctness because the only people we are trying to make feel better are ourselves. There is no way to keep everyone happy all the time, so why should we bend over backwards in case some one in timbucktoo cares if we call black people black. It doesn't matter, they are just words.

Despite all my pent up rage I have had a good time recently. I was at Chrissy's house for the first time in ages and it was fantastic. We had an amazing weekend, well I know I did. Even if I was a bit of a wimp in the chemists. Anyway, to sum up good fun time weekend, very personal and private.

Anyway, I'm going to shush and go away because I don't want to run up a huge phone bil and I expect it will take ages to publish this. CURSE YOU 56K!
